Hi folks. I'm asking this question here, because it's one of the most active groups and I am in need of a quick answer if possible. Bear with me as I know it's not the right place, but it will...

Re: Looking for Large format printer (24") that can be used infrequently

Yea, just a page. Anything to keep the ink moving and flowing through the heads. But again, I will say that you can print thousands upon thousands of pages before you come to the cost of one print...

Re: Looking for Large format printer (24") that can be used infrequently

It seems like you've got the deck stacked against you.

You're really asking for something that doesn't exist. If it did, it would be the most popular WF printer on the market. There are...

Re: epson printer for sublimation

The 7720 replaced the 7710 so there won't be anymore stock of the 7710 once its gone.

The 72xx series is the same as the 77xx series except it has the scanner glass for copy/scan/fax too. For a...

Hey guys. I know there's not a real good spot for this question; but I really need an answer and I think if anyone knows it; it's gonna come from here.

Re: NEWBIE QUESTION: screen print white as underbase then dye sublimation on dark fabric?

All that may be true, but "dye sub" is a buzzword that is more and more becoming known by the consumer. If you don't advertise what you do as Dye Sub, awesome. But we need to be self-policing as a...

Re: NEWBIE QUESTION: screen print white as underbase then dye sublimation on dark fabric?

Let me clarify. I have no problem with folks using sprays, gels, household chemicals or whatever in their attempts to push the limits and do something new or really cool.

My only gripe in the dye...

Re: World papers 100% cotton dye sublimation paper

Dye Sublimation onto cotton fabric... (I'm going to say this slow)... does. not. exist.

If you have to add a poly film to the top of a cotton garment and you press onto that poly film an image...

Re: NEWBIE QUESTION: screen print white as underbase then dye sublimation on dark fabric?

But then it's not really sublimation any longer.

The whole idea behind sublimation is to have a garment with zero hand and permanent adhesion after the decorating process. If you have to add...

Re: Virtuoso SG400 Ink - Dull colors when printed

Have you actually tried the Cobra Ink? There are many fine folks who would disagree with you if that is the ink you are referring too.

Re: Virtuoso SG400 Ink - Dull colors when printed

To answer your original questions, when you print your transfers, they ARE supposed to look faded and off-color. The magic of heat and pressure makes them look good. If your colors are way off...

Re: Virtuoso SG400 Ink - Dull colors when printed

I can answer that one... :)

Because Sawgrass Inks are grossly overpriced. After my SG400 inks emptied, it was cheaper for me to buy an Epson WF-7110 which is 13x19" and a full set of Cobra Ink...

Re: Shipping label printer

I bought a Brother QL-700 on closeout at Staples. It was $99 for $14. That was 5 months ago. I still haven't taken it out of the box because I'm lazy and don't ship much.

Re: SOS!! Polymer window no matter what I do!

I do small(ish) 5" by 5" squares with text and numbers inside; like the element periodic chart squares. I have never experienced that problem with JPSS. It takes 1, maybe 2 washings and it's all...

Re: Soft touch poly tshirts

When I first got started in dye sub, I asked the question about the best 100% Poly tshirt for sublimation. Almost in unison, most folks chimed, Gildan 42000.

So I bought some. I won't tell you how...

Re: Trademark infringement question

I know you're being funny, but for context for others, you do realize that it costs money to register a trademark and it's a process, right? :)

Expensive trolling. :D

Re: Press or transfers?

Check your used transfer sheet and see if some of the "plastisol transfer" is left attached to the sheet. That's the obvious 1st thing to look at. If that's not the issue, I'm not sure. Check with...
