Re: PLC Driver Fixed - Hair Dryer Gone :)

Hey thats great John, may have to eventually take you up on that considering I have a neo1 but been fortunate so far. Sucks as I hear we all eventually have to replace that part at some point. I...

Re: Printhead Question

Not sure what white nozzle is spilling over but you might be able to salvage it if you ever want to just go the CMYK route.

Re: White Inks fading

Sorry realized I never replied back to this. I just chalked it up to it being the shirts. Ran some Alstyle 1301s and they were great even after cure. Even though Ive gotten awesome prints on the...

Re: NEOFLEX CMYK Ink prints keep fading and washing out

Listen to Nick as I havnt heard of pretreat being used. Also check your heat press with a surface probe and make sure your heat press is giving out the right temp.

Re: White Inks fading

I was able to find a fix for it for the moment but dont think its a good long term solution and hopefully it was just the shirts. Put it through my conveyor dryer to kind of hope it would seal the...

Re: 10035 error

Forgot what happened but I ended up losing the clip that keeps the wheel in place. Borrowed one that was a little smaller on some other part of the machine and used some cement glue to keep it in...

Re: Pretreatment opinions (Firebirb vs IA)

Id say invest in what you currently have and dictate your niche. I know some guys just do CMYK and they are killing it doing 100s of shirts a day at a very nice price. So what if you only offer that...

Re: Advice on my process for better white results (Video)

Gotta agree with Glupo here. Use heavy pressure with dupont white. I dont change my settings from pretreat to cure. I would hover for 5 secs. before i clamp down. If I didnt hover I would get some of...

Re: Color vs dark color setting

I think for me it had better use back then with the older chemicals we were using as if you didnt have white under a color print, the color would fade more in the wash.

Re: Waterbased inks - best brand?

Thanks Andy, I actually did talk to Vastex this morning but forgot to ask about flashing. They did say that I would be able to speed up the curing process by flashing before putting on the dryer.

Btw ripcord, you say to use 160 for burgundy with a lighter stroke. Does that perhaps create cleaner lines where the gold peeks through since I'm not using as much pressure?
