Smile Artisan 1430 ciss or refillable

Just bought an Artisan 1430 from eBay.

I need to produce 5,000 11x17 canvas color prints this year.

Wondering what is the best 2020 solution for this?

Ciss or refillable cartridges?

I've tried both in the past. But getting back into the biz and wondering if there is a "latest and greatest" new method

thanks!

5000 is roughly 100 per week. That is more than enough to warrent a ciss.
The 1430 has very small ink carts, so you would be constantly changing them.

Avoid the XP15000.

It uses a colour set that includes red and grey ink. Sourcing non Epson the ink will be hard.

It also uses sponge filled carts that are hard to refill.

Interesting. I guess i'm gonna need a CISS for the 1430. Not sure if they are all the same or not.

Do you think this one is good?

cool. I'll checkout their website.

Do you find that you have to remove the entire ink kit when one of the inks runs out of ink.

Or do you use that little CISS reset button?
