Default Printing Numbers

What is the best option for printing numbers for HS jerseys. Would prefer not to use transfer numbers or vinyl on an expensive jersey at the HS level.

Is anyone printing numbers for jerseys anymore?

screen print numbers ...NO
Sewn numbers are the next most economical
after film or transfer. We use paper stencils and it takes an entire day wasted to print 50 jersey numbers.

Recommended vinyl?

Just not a huge fan of ironing on numbers for an expensive jersey for varsity sports. We've used Transfer Express 2 color numbers in most cases, but sometimes hard to find the right colors.

Screen printed lots of #s, easier to color match. Like anything takes practice... might want to try Robert Smothers at 217-342-2777(Sports Designs & Graphics) - should be of help...

We print numbers a lot using stencils from Atlas. It's really not that hard or time consuming. Make a screen with the number area open and block out around with strips of transfer paper. If I get a chance, I'm printing numbers later this week and will post some pictures.

I also use my Roland Versa Camm to cut numbers with Subliblock Vinyl Paper for polyester garment. I have the advantage to color match any color
