Default CMYK Seperations using Accurip

Aloha everyone. My question is regarding CMYK separations using Accurip Ruby. I know that if I am Using PS, I need to convert the image to Bitmap and adjust the frequency and the angle. My question is, if I am using Accurip Ruby, do I still have to adjust all of that prior to just printing out the CMYK films? And, if i do, where do i go to change those angles in the software. I would like to finally try my hand at doing CMYK prints and don't want to make more errors than necessary trying to figure out if it is something i want to do or not. Thank you all for your assistance. Aloha
