Don't use plexiglass, the heat will warp it making it unusable

You could try putting this nomex pad over the bottom plate of your heat press which should allow you to get greater pressure pressing.

Default Re: Foil printing

would this be the same thing as a pressure pad/pressure mat? When I went to the Anajet training, they said that a pressure mat/pad would be helpful, but I am not sure if this is the same thing. HELP!
Thanks,
Erin

I recently purchased an anajet as well. I was wondering if you found that you could use another brand of foil other than the anajet foil. I am trying to get a wider range of colors. Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks,
Erin

Stahls also sells foil in quite a few colors.

If I'm putting green foil on a white shirt, do I need to put white ink under the green ink or will the foil stick to green ink only?

The foil should stick to the green ink only. You should lay down a heavy coat of ink when you print for best results.

Well, I did a white shirt with green ink only and the foil did not stick well. Turned out with more of a glitter look then foil.
