Default Multi Decoration Design

For those of you doing multi decoration designs, do you apply your stones directly on top of the other material. I usually do an outline so my rhinestones touch my fabric and not the material I am using. I have seen poeple who apply the stones directly on top of glitter. I worry about my stones falling off. I was just wondering how many of you do this. I have though about applying directly to flock which would work, but again I was thinking after many washes the flock and stones could seperate.

On a side note, does anyone know a good place to get zebra or cheetah flock for shirts?

I haven't tried flock yet, but I have not had luck with rhinestones sticking to any material I have tried with the exception of that heat press vinyl from Cad-cut called (I think) H2O. I did apply rhinestones over this material and have successfully washed and dried my test shirt many times with no loss of stones.

Anything else I've ever tried has not worked.

I'm going to try the flock. I'll keep an eye on this thread, because I would also be interested to see where I could get the patterned flock.

I have used flock successfully. Any other material, I punch the holes through. I have not seen patterned flock.
