Default Kodak DTG ink

It's a new year so I did my first print using the new Kodak ink including white. The color looks good and tomorrow I'll do the wash testing.

Last year I printed a few shirts with the CMYK ink and the shirts looked good and washed well.

Thanks for the post. I'd be very interested to see your post wash results. I'm thinking of using the Kodak inks when we start up again with DTG in a few months time. Previousley we've been using image armor CMYK+White.

The wash testing was good as the printed didn't change colour.

Great looking print, have you checked the vibrancy on hoodies or sweats?

I agree with Colin, that snake print looked like a 3d model as if it was coming out. Do you know what the particle size is on the white ink?? Also what printer are you using?

Hi,

I am not sure the particle size will help you in anyway. What I can say is, Resolute Premium, the version made by Resolute in the U.K. is filtered down to .5 micron which is finer than most finished formulations designed for DX range heads.

I am pretty sure Nzaco has some R-Jet 5’s.

Regards

Colin

Is there an ICC profile for this ink? I'm struggling to get the colours right. It's too vibrant. Which I guess is a good problem to have. Thanks!
