Default R-Jet 5i vs Summit AT

Hi, all-

I've been looking at the Summit AT and just discovered the R-Jet 5i, which looks almost identical to the Summit AT.

Obviously, the carriage is made by the same company (somewhere in Italy, I think.)

The platens are different, the Summit AT has a Tuc Loc, and the Summit AT has an extra button on the side that has something to do with the Epson waste ink cartridge, and the load buttons are in different locations, but other than that they could be twins.

Does anyone out there know how the two printers compare inside? I know the Summit AT is modified slightly before it is shipped out.

And do any of you have any thoughts on how the two printers compare?

Is the R-Jet 5i a good choice?

I appreciate your thoughts!

Best,

Chris
