Default Printhead Alignment RJET5)

I'm trying to do a printhead alignment on my rjet 5.

I am unsure of paper thickness, platen gap, and printer mode (roll, roll cut, sheet)... or for that matter what medium to use (clear paper or t-shirt)

Any information much appreciated!

I'm having the same issue with alignment as my nozzle checks are printing all over the place including the metal frame of the box so basically not within the printing parameters for the adult box. Apparently alignment is automatic and there is no alignment functions as such..... I am still on the search.

That’s is correct, you need to place a sheet of transparency below the black strip over to the left of the frame for the printer to print onto.

Alignment is not required, the alignment is set to the platen height and cannot be changed. When you print a shirt with an image through the rip it will be in the correct position.

Transparency below the black strip? The magnetic black strip is Installed on the bottom of the t shirt box in my case so I cannot place anything below as it will be off the box. Also the transparent to be placed on the left in portrait or landscape?

Hi,

The black strip on the frame of the box is where you should place the transparency, this is in the manual. As you face the printer the nozzle check will print on the control panel side, your right if in front of the printer. Place it landscape. Make sure you follow the instructions in the manual about turning the sensor on and off or you will get an error.

Regards

Colin
