Default Resolute Ink Problems

Hey guys!

Having another issue which seems to be the same across our RJet 4 & 5 (weird)

This is when we are printing a black design on a white / grey coloured tshirt whereby when the print reaches roughly half way, the print head seems to catch on tiny fibres on the tshirt (primarily using Gildan Softstyle rings pun & Bella and Canvas 100% cotton)

When inspecting the print head after these prints it looks completely black where it was immaculate beforehand.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Cheers guys

Ok I think we spoke before you purchased two second hand machines. If so I can confirm they were waiting to be serviced but the owner never had that done.

There is a lot to answer here but I can give a brief answer but the best thing to do would be call the office on Monday.

1 The fading of an image towards the bottom of a print points towards a worn out print head.

2 Lines in the magenta also point towards channels that are worn out and not firing correctly.

3 Touching the shirt or fibres happens when the base plate is warped, sounds like it has had a lot of use and might need replacing.

Hope this helps for now.

Colin
