Default R-Jet 4 Loading Issues

Hi,

I'm having a problem with my R-Jet 4 and wondered whether anyone else has experienced the same or may know of a resolution.

There appears to be a slight grinding / rubbing sound when loading trays into the box. I have tested this on both my adult and youth platen so I'm fairly certain it's the printer that's causing it.

It has caused issues when printing also, whereby the belt is actually moving but the tray does not.

There doesn't appear to be anything blocking the tray feed and the belts seem ok.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

This is normally when the sides of the loading box are bowed out through wear & tear or loading garments incorrectly. With the box loaded look down the side and see if it is catching. If not the height of the box could need adjusting, this is done with the plunger and the screw adjacent to it on the same mechanism, this slides up and down to adjust the hight of the base.

Hope this helps.

Colin
