Default The RJET5, The Answer to all our prayers!!!

Last week we had two new RJet 5's installed. We already have two Rjet 4's so have had the pleasure of Resolutes support over the past couple of years. But to say these things take it to the next level is an understatement.

The one major issue that everyone always brings up when they talk about DTG is white inks clogging and dirty print heads and constant cleaning. Well believe me, that my friends is now a thing of the past. We've had the two RJet5's running 8 hours a day for seven days now. Number of head cleans in seven days.....0 (ZERO) yes none, other than the obligatory one to start the day but to be honest we probably don't need to do that it's just habit.

The other great thing too is the speed. Because of the new ink development you can print a healthy white under base at 1440 x 720. Basically production is up 30% because of this and time is obviously money.

This combined with no downtime for head cleans is an absolute revelation. So much so that our two RJet 4's will be on the market very soon and we'll be replacing them with another two shiny new RJet 5's.

If anyone is in the process of researching new equipment then please please please just don't look any further than these babies.

And if you are wondering, we have 4 years hard DTG experience. We've seen the good and the bad and been through plenty of moments when we wanted to throw equipment out of the window, I think on one occasion we actually did, and it worked better! The RJet5's, however, are a whole new world!

Awesome news.

I'm not familiar with the R5 yet. What's the RIP? Are you in the States?

I would just like to point out Paul was not talking about his R- Jet 4's when he mentions throwing out of the window LOL. The 4's replaced the offending item which was not an R-jet n any shape or form

We are based in the UK, not the States.

Although I believe Resolute now have a showroom in the States. You would need to ask Colin @ Resolute regards that one.

The Rip is an exclusive Resolute Rip but made by Cadlink.

Oh, and just to confirm, the printer which nearly ended up being thrown out of the window
started with V ended in R and had IPE in the middle!

Regards

Paul.

Yes the R-Jet 5's are now being sold in the united states. THe office is in New jersey, all the contact info is wwww.resolutedtgusa.com. Ask for Jay. He is Great to talk to and a wealth of knowledge in the DTG field, I Live in North Carolina and i have the R-jet 5. I have had it running for a month now. and it Prints Great . I do a head clean once every 48 hours. but as mentioned above, i get 100 percent nozzle checks every morning. The white ink management system is a plus, no need to take your inks out and shake them up any more. If any one is in the North Carolina area and wants to see the R-jet in action i will be here for only a few more week, as the military is Taking us to a new location. The Rip Software is great, you just load the design and print, but you can make all your changes in the Rip if you want. It also has a cost analysis built into the RIp, so it will give you a cost estimate for every print , i think that is pretty neat. Happy Printing Guys and gals.

In Europe only Resolute Ink, we have several sites currently testing Resolute Ink in the US. The R-Jet's can run either inks & have a profile for both brands.

The ink used in the video is Resolute.
