Default Laser vs Inkjet print for tshirt business

Hi everyone,

Currently, I use a Canon for t-shirt transfers to do my t-shirt prints, I also have an Epson to do my sublimation. Thinking about getting a new printer for pigment ink to do waterproof prints for business cards etc and also my t-shirt transfers.

I am also wondering if I should just get a laser printer. I'm thinking about getting an Oki because of the white toner. I have been watching some videos about refilling the toner, what do you guys think or can you share your experience?

Thanks.

Evidently you have not yet have issues with clogging with inkjet printer. I have to trash 5 inkjet printers.

Seems to me you are happy with what you have except not able to do dark shirt that is self weeding.

There's a cheap option using B/W laser printer with white toner. Pair it with sublimation ink, self weeding laser transfer for dark.

The process will be like what I have done in this thread except the printer will be B/W laser printer.
