Default Solid Coverage Unknown Foil Problems

I have an unknown roll of gold and silver foil here. I ordered International Coatings Foil Adhesive.

Tried all of the following:
325 - 350 degrees on heat press
curing and not curing foil adhesive
15 to 25 seconds on heat press
peeling hot
peeling cold
rubbing until full heat displacement occurs and peeling cold

I've tried so many combinations and am getting lost. My main problem is in the photo. Originally this was happening all over the image, but as I increased heat and pressure and rubbed until cool and peeled cold, it consistently is coming out like this. Just not getting that full solid coverage customer wants.

Originally I thought it was because I had too much black plastisol ink in the adhesive mix, but at this point, there is barely any plastisol ink left and it is just solid adhesive.

I'd like to just keep document my progress here, but I just can't seem to get anything to work so it's a nice solid coverage. If I could remember what the foil brand was I could at least search the vendor and get the recommended settings.

So, some questions.

1. This is just a foil print only, do I really need to cure, or after I lay the adhesive, can I go straight to the heat press?
2. Should I print, flash, print, cure? Then heat press?
3. Always cold peel or are some out there a hot peel?

Anyone think if I posted a photo of my foil roll you would recognize it?

Well, in troubleshooting a little more, I am getting better results this way:

print, flash, print
walk shirt wet to heat press
press medium pressure for 35 seconds at 375
rub until warm
then place shirt transfer side down on cold surface
walk away and forget about it for about 20 minutes and it is peeling off a lot cleaner

A Few missing edges here and there, but much better.

The image is still bleeding out a little, loosing edge definition, so I am going to keep trying to lighten up the pressure.

Am also researching this forum for washability, durability, longevity of foil transfers. So, if anyone has any information on that and can chime in here that would be great!

I did end up changing that out, now it's a very light grey. I don't like my silver shimmer, it has also washed off the garmets so I'm afraid of trying that.

You misunderstood. I mix gold or silver shimmer in the clear adhesive.
It hides the imperfections, and the foil looks better for longer.

Oh and I forgot to mention, print the adhesive on the foil, not on the shirt.

Oh, no, I got what you meant... I just mean my silver shimmer ink does not, on it's own, adhere very well to fabric and I did not want to introduce an imperfect ink into the adhesive. But I do get what you're saying there. The color I've put it is a close enough match now.

If I put the adhesive direct on the transfer, what are the benefits from that? I'm trying a test now. I know my image will be mirrored. I'll just have to reshoot my screens if this works better.

I'm having great luck with the print direct on foil method. Flash cure about 10 sec, press about 30 sec medium pressure, temp at 330. Let foil cool completely, peels right off.
