Why is everyone talking about liquids down the drain? When I clean up my screens with Beanedo, nothing goes down the drain. The paper I use to mop it all up goes into the garbage.

Yes, eventually it ends up in some landfill, but I doubt that any significant amount of it would ever reach a water supply like a river or a lake.

That's exactly how it is. Manufacturers are obliged to display these hazard warnings, just in case.

What is a good alternative for plastisol cleaner ? I ran out and need to clean some screens urgently and can’t find anywhere in nyc that’s sells any I can just go buy without ordering online . I read you can use goo gone or paint thinner but not sure if that will ruin the emulsion

Talking Re: Alternative Cleaner for Plastisol Ink?

I use this: https://www.ccidom.com/us/en/product...ed-press-wash/

It's a great alternative to much harsher chemical solvents and doesn't smell like roach killer! Honestly, though, it's what I've been using for the past six or so years and I've never had any issues. Just don't try drinking a glass of it or anything. :P

As for in store local stuff, I don't know.

This is just Citrus Terpene or (aka Limonene). It's a solvent, and it is just as harmful as the others mentioned. Obvious from the sds sheet.

I didn't say it was completely safe, I said it was a safer alternative to the harsher stuff. Please read people's posts instead of being condescending out of the gate. :P
