Default Emulsion Dripping and not washing out

So we have only been doing this a few years but the past year we have been doing great with few issues. All of a sudden Im starting to get a lot of drips on emulsion when curing. If for some reason I did get a good one we cant get the stencil to clear out without blowing out emulsion. I thought maybe my emulsion was getting bad because we had it for awhile. Got a new gallon and samething. I just coated 5 screens and within a few minutes they were dripping bad. I never have checked that quick so when I noticed it within a few minutes I took my coater and ran it over each one again and got the drips. They seem fine now but my main question is are these screens going to be alright after I ran the coater across them? And what the heck do you think is going on. My curing cabinet is at 78 degrees and 48% humidity.

Using RXP Dual Cure. I normally do 2 coats wet on wet with no problems and now here we are. 3 of the 5 screens are brand new and 2 were reclaimed. I degreased the hell of them all.
Any suggestions?

Are you adding the diazo sensitizer correctly? And once you "activate" the emulsion it has a very short shelf life. Not sure exactly what that is with the brand you are using, but after 2 weeks I would start to get concerned. You said it was a brand new bucket so I guess we can rule out bad emulsion. Are you mixing/stirring it up before using? Your problem is definitely the emulsion and not your screen. And I'd be willing to bet either the emulsion is bad or its not sensitized properly. If I were you I would consider switching to a pure photopolymer emulsion. No additives, no mixing, no shelf life. Pop the lid and start coating. Much easier to use. A little more expensive, but totally worth it IMO.

I agree with Sulp. Get some ChromaLine brand ChromaBlue photopolymer emulsion. Its easily the best emulsion Ive ever used.

Seconded for the photopolymer. We use Ulano SBQ and it goes on smooth 1 coat per side, we're running about 200 screens a week and so far Ulano is the best we've tested.
