You are better off with laser transfers.
I have done wood transfers and had customers who did it in production as well.
There are many ways to do it so it mainly depends on the effect look you want and the type of prints you are making.
You can print on Dark walnuts in color for a opaque look or you can make your designs look nostalgic.
You don,t need to spend a lot of money like a DTG.
