Re: 3G Jet Opaque paper with blue grid on back?

There is a big difference between the two papers which I found interesting. The plain blue grid really has a VERY strong chemical smell when it gets hot. It gave me a bad headache after only an hour or so of pressing. And it is a bit harder to work with, you have to center it quickly or it sticks to the shirt and when you pull it up .. if not super careful, it will stick to itself. The 3G is pretty much odorless and super easy to work with (in case anyone was interested in a comparison).

Re: 3G Jet Opaque paper with blue grid on back?

Well, I went to press and the instructions on the new paper said 10 seconds, so then i KNEW it was not the right paper (3G is 30 seconds). So I called cobraink back and they had just got off the phone with their supplier and found out THEY had received the wrong paper from their supplier. She was very apologetic and let me keep the 100 sheets of blue grid .. she's shipping me the correct 3G on Tuesday.

So kudos to cobraink. The mix-up was not really their fault and they gave me free paper for my inconvenience. Guess I'll get to try out the blue grid till the 3G arrives!

That doe not make sense, why would they not let their customers know that they are making changes.
And for them to say for you to send it back at your expense. I be looking for another vendor. Or I ask to speak to a manager. I hope all turned out well for you

Re: 3G Jet Opaque paper with blue grid on back?

I just received my order of 3G Jet Opaque paper from cobrainks.com. This is the 2nd time I have bought this paper from them. The first time I received a paper with "3G Jet Opaque" printed on the back with large black grid. I loved the paper, so I ordered 100 more sheets. The new order arrived today and has just a plain blue grid on the back, no 3G or any other label.

I called cobraink and they were adamant that this was indeed 3G paper. I asked them why the 3G grid was not on the back of the paper and they said they didn't know, but the box they received it in said it was 3G.

Does this sound legitimate? The paper feels a little lighter than the original order I got, but I don't know if there is really a difference. Seems like 3G paper should all have the same grid on the back, don't you think?

She said I could return the paper (at my expense I'm pretty sure...) but I need to use about 25 sheets today.

Any advise would be helpful!
