I guess the short answer would be yes, your Dell printer will work, but I'm not sure the quality would be that good. I would also be concerned about the ink bleeding in the washing machine. You might want to invest in a better printer that would give you better control of your ink output.

Yes that is good for starting out I had one.

The other thing you will need is printer for transfers Epson.
