Specifications:
For pigment/dye inkjet printers - not compatible with thermal inkjet printers
This product is not compatible with application masks
Can be applied with heat press or conventional home iron -- for the best, most durable results, we highly recommend heat press application
Heat transfer paper with proper storage (cool, dark, sealed location) typically has a shelf life of one year
Not recommended to be used with HP, Brother, or Dell printers

Re: Easyjet for Darks

Well I take back what I said about my custom profile from Cobra. Was doing some different colored designs this evening and they all pressed very dull. I then switched it to premium matte paper so it puts more ink down and while it does look a bit better its still not coming out as vibrant as the 3G. Anyone else using a custom profile for the EasyJet for Darks?

I did also try printing it using the 3G Opaque profile and same thing very dull. Any suggestions?

Re: Easyjet for Darks

i just trialed the 'new' red grid from joto,
it had great color and was thinner and not as krinkly as the 3g
it washed well with the colors remaining vibrant

ask joto for a sample and they will send you some

I switched to EasyJet for Darks from Coastal. I hated the way 3G feels and I hated the sound it makes when you walk. And you are right on the crinkling. I find the EasyJet to be a a decent amount thinner than the 3G and also feels better. It's definitely not the perfect answer for transfers on darks but it's a better option than the 3G.

I also had Cobra make a custom profile for me for the EasyJet which now prints as good as the 3G.

You can't really make opaque paper softer. Light transfer papers you can stretch while hot to make it softer but opaque papers you can't.

I haven't tried Easyjet for Darks but the good thing is that Coastal Business sells inexpensive sample packs of it so it is no risk to try it out.
