Re: Neoflex printer does not move

Hi, I'm unfamiliar with the AL_09 error, but this is a rather old thread. You might have better luck starting a new one.

Re: Neoflex printer does not move

Hi!!

After 9 years working fine with the neoflex, I finally got a drive errror. In my case the AL_09 error

At the begining it was few times... I just had to reset the neoflex to continue working... but then, the error happens daily, each morning... and finally the motor stop moving while I was printing

So, checking the drive, I think I have changed the configuration, and right now the neoflew is dead... could you helpme with these codes to confing the drive?

Anyway, this will not solve the AL_09, but, at least, I could print some t-shirt

AL_09 code means Overload, so I think this is not a drive error, maybe the motor?

Re: Neoflex printer does not move

So after I let the bad PLC sit for 3 weeks. I plugged it back in today, put the hair dryer on it for 2 minutes and it fired right up. Seems the Caps inside have to totally discharge for a while(takes a few weeks). I have all the #'s now. It runs in position mode.

Re: Neoflex printer does not move

Hi all,

I was able to get a hold of a new PLC that isn't programmed. Most of the stock data is the same but I need some more parameters for it. If you have a working PLC and could get me the parameters that I need you would be helping a lot. Here is how to do it:

First, you have to turn the servo motor off. To do this go to the PLC and use the arrow buttons to locate PE-517 and change the value from 00001 to 00000. Make sure to change it back to 00001 when you're done reading all the data that I need(this will change it back to servo-on).

Second, the parameters that I will need are the only ones that can be read with the servo-off. If the servo is on you will just get an "err1" message for these. Here are the ones I need:

PD-201 this value is either 0 thru 5 and will tell me the mode it's in.

PE-202
PE-203
PE-204
PE-205
PE-210

I you wish I am able to send it to AA (at my expense) to be repaired at your expense and shipped to you, so you do not have shut down your machine.
The only condition is that you do the same for the next one in need of a PLC.
Have a nice weekend
Juan Manuel, muchas gracias por tu oferta! But no thank you. Right now, it's working and the tech is comming here when he returns. For us that is pretty expensive. The salary here is around 500€ (550$ +-) and to give 275€ for it, it's to much.

We are going to make the orders we currently have and after, maybe we will sell the machines we have (2 neoflex). They are to fragile, the colors aren't very good for what we are used to and they are expensive and expensive maintanaince.

But thanks for the offer!!

SALUDOS de Portugal!

Ethics is huge when it comes to running a business.

Again, BUYER BEWARE!
no offense, but you clearly have no clue what you are talking about. the part isn't "defective". it wears out over time and use. my Neo prints non-stop, and over time, parts wear down. when those parts wear down, we replace them. this is the case with ANYTHING you buy regardless of the item or manufacturer.

i've owned my Neo for about 4 years now, and my next printer will be another Neo. plain and simple.

I agree with you, we had a Neoflex and the warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on!

Sending it to the USA for the repair, for now, it doesn't pays off. Besides the fact of work to be done can't be delayed no more.
