I Knew it, came across this guy's ebay ads for dtg printers. I gave him a call to ask just a few questions, and I could tell right off the back that he was kinda sketchy.

Still being sold on ebay as:
PHASE 1 DTG Printer "NEW" Industrial Drive System Automatic

#1 Selling American Made DTG Printer on the market!

As many of us have found out, what you receive, for a couple thousand dollars, is unusable, the seller with a smug, "sucks to be you" attitude. Go to the website of the Attorney General of Florida and add your experience to the info she has already received. If she hears from all of us, maybe we can stop this scammer!

For anyone still being ripped off by this guy... I have written to the Florida Atty General. She responded and is interested in looking into this person, who is still selling on ebay. If you are one of the many who bought one of the "Quick-T", or "phase-1" dtg "printers", and received a unusable, incomplete item with no information on set up, maintenance, or even on what else needs to be added in order to use the thing, now is the time to write to the Attorney General of Florida. The more info she has, the better chance she can at least shut this guy down!

IMO... You are better off working it a deal with a good wholesale DTG printer then you are buying some DIY printer..

I know people who have some DIY printers and the quality and consistency of some of them are very poor.. Not something you want to use if you are going to sell to people..

I'm glad I saw this post, as I was thinking about getting one of these just to see how the process works. I will look else where for something. Thanks for the heads up.

Buyer's remorse doesn't begin to describe the regret I have buying from this guy. Even if I get the thing to print, if any part fails I will be out of luck. Did do some research; obviously not enough. The guy presents himself as a company when what he is, is some lowlife building knock-off printers at home. He says he did not attach the platen, because "someone will sue me". Must be illegally using someone else's design. A class action law suit? I would be in!
Could you please post pictures of what you received , Id really appreciate seeing whats being sold on ebay .

I am so sorry to read your post. I had not heard anything for quite awhile and was in hopes that he was out of business (read into that whatever you like).

There has to be some way to warn people.

Re: Has anyone used the Quick t print diy dtg printer

Just an update about my kennedy mistake: My IT department has given up on trying to get it to work. It remains a complete waste of, you name it, time, money, effort, frustration......

Never again will I repeat my mistake. Austin Kennedy is a thief.
