Re: Epson Successfully HOMEMADE DTG printer working 100%

looks like theres too much weight on the t-shirt table. Or maybe it's not touching the feeding rolls under it.
Put some slim rubber down the table.

Go here: EUKON DIGITAL, INC. Technology for Fast Digital Color Textile Printing
and contact them.
they might offer a 7days trial and you can setup inks on the app menu very easily.

Re: Epson Successfully HOMEMADE DTG printer working 100%

I highly recommend EKRIP. I used it on my Epson 1400 and works perfectly.

Re: Epson Successfully HOMEMADE DTG printer working 100%

Hey all! I'm taking the plunge with my Epson 1400.

I'm planning on using Gutenrip for white inks, if everything works well I'll probably upgrade it later on.

My question is how do I set up the ink set? The default for the printer is CMYK +lm +lc.

Will Guten want me to set up the printer in CMYK and replace the lm and lc with white?

Thanks for any feedback!

Dye sub Paper is pretty low cost. It's not the same as Transfer paper, though you still are transferring the image. Here's a source for some good quality paper:

Home

Hybrid they refer to, means hard or soft surface products.

Those papers you print in and heat transfer to the cases.
Oh yes that is always an option but its an extra cost of sublimation paper and process of applying head etc etc, rather just find something direct hence the reason for building direct to surface flatbed printer.

I'm still researching before plunging my money anywhere, will keep you posted if I find something.
