Talk about washing here is way none sense. Epson will never launched Printer if there wasn't chemicals. Do not under estimate Epson.
Biggest my wonder is Service. Dtg after service requires way more attention than any other their printers out there. I know they already have Service team to other printers but I hope Epson know what they are facing into. At beginning it will be easier but when numbers are higher? While first defense is not the dealer (their policy) but Epson. I warned Tigers(AA service team) to be prepared.
Well~ time will tell. I have my big dog in this
Cheers! Beers are on me always.

Since this is printed using a brand new ink manufactured by Epson specifically for the F2000 Printer it would be great to see you post another picture of the shirt after several washings.

In consideration of the chemicals used, how did the F2000 print 'feel' before and after washing?

I ask this to get back to the end clients opinion of the print that they will be wearing

Wash test is not telling about Printer.
Wash stands for Chemical and Operator's Skill.
It is good to Know chemicals are good stage
Cheers! Have a nice weekend.

Thanks for posting the picture. If you wash the shirt a few more times it would be great if you could please post another picture.

The pic was taken with the ipad, sorry for the quality, it was after I washed it. But you can still see the brightness of the colors.

Epson has addressed that with an air filter built into the print engine.

In inkjet technology, there is a spitting action that takes place every so many passes of the head. I haven't had a good opportunity to watch all motions of the printer yet, but there is an air filter inside most likely designed to keep the overspray down. We have one in our printer so that when the head spits, the fan draws it down into a filter so there isn't internal overspray. I'd assume this is similar on the F2000, but again, without actually watching the movements of the head, etc, I'm not quite 100% sure on it.

I asked the same thing and I was told it won't be an issue...but only time will tell. Once there are many printers in the field that are using them in a production environment and not lab conditions things will come to light I am sure.
