Hi Terry
If you are still looking and want to really know about this machine I would be glad to share my experience with you on the machine. I've had the machine for four months now.

I would LOVE to hear what you have to say about this machine, I saw the youtube video and it looked amazing!
but some real world experience from an actual owner would be priceless!

Personally I think both machines have their merits.

If you are looking at a machine to do smallish print areas then the Mod1 is going to be your baby.
The Mod1 uses a shorter stroke Epson as the start, limiting the print area. But because the head does not need to go as far over as the Neo will give you far more speed over a larger number of items. (Like the bottles they were printing).

If you want to print larger objects like a full chest image on a shirt then or a larger banner for exterior, then the Neo may give you more bang for your buck. The Neo has a large print area and if you need that print area then you have no choice.

The Mod has a lot smaller print area in comparison.

And of course ditto to Rylos detail, this can mean more to you than the actual machine capability if you have any sort of problems after you purchase.

Paul
Again you have a good points. One thing I want to add is Desk top modify machine (Epson 1800-2400 $400 plus minus) vs Pro image wide format (Epson 4880-7880 $2000 plus) are big different. Epson.com will tell you all. NeoFlex has 100% user satisfaction now.

Hi Daks

The NeoFlex system is basically made up of 3, maybe 4 components.

1. The base
2. The Neotex - CMYK + White - for white or dark/black shirt printing
3. The Neotex - CMYK + CMYK - for light coloured garments = faster printing.
4. The NeoSol - Solvent Ink - for other substrates.

The base is common to all and you simply swap the printers 2, 3 or 4.

I own 1, 2 & 4 and it's superb system. I haven't done any solvent printing yet, just concentrating on the learning curve of black shirt printing

Anything else, just ask.

John

The above post was made on April 14th, 2009 - almost two years ago, to the month. How is development on the Mod2 going? Are there any pics / videos to show it in action? Are they in the field, yet? From this post, it seems like it would be completed in late 2009... It is very possible that it has been released to little fanfare, which is why I have seen no mention of it on these forums.
