Default Nexus DTG 400 - printing but bed won't work! - epson 4880c Printer

Hello all! I recently purchased a Neoflex DTG 430 Printer used and have since replaced lines, cleaned the head, and installed a new power board.

Nexus DTG400 Direct To Garment Printer DTG

The printer will print like it should, but I'm having a problem because the base won't move therefore it's printing only one straight line instead of printing on the whole shirt.

I am using a nexus rip and checked all of my settings on both printer and rip and everything seems in order.

When i start the printer i get the base to go back and then all the way forward until its at the origin and the light on the base goes on.

Im really stuck here and can't figure out what is the problem.

Previous owner said it worked fine, but couldn't get it to turn on.

**PLEASE NOTE** I am able to move it back and forth on the base with the forward and backward buttons.

Also I have checked all fuses and on the printer boards and also on the base unit.

I have also swapped the main logic board to try and see if that helped but it didn't.

If anyone can help me fix it I'm willing to pay you for your help thanks!

The nexus is not the same as the neoflex. Not sure you will get much help on the neoflex forum as we do not use the nexus rip.

On my Nexus printer everything work but is will not print.
It moves like it is printing but it dose not.
All the fuses are good and new head.
When I run the cleaning cycle it cleans it just will not print.

Try running the test print pattern, this runs outside of the RIP software, it may tell you if it is a RIP problem or actual printer.

I usually print on Blue or light green construction paper and run it a couple of times so the channels are visible, this makes it easier to see if the colors, specially white.

Towards the end I printed on transparency, wipe clean and reuse, plus easier to see all colors when I hold up to the light.

When the printer is turned on it needs to be away form the front sensors, it cannot start on the sensor. Also, there is a way to reset the sensor by placing something metal when you turn on the base, then run the startup sequence.
