Do you guys use a UPS? Keeps things going for those times when you just have to remove the power.

I use UPS, but it only last 20-25 minutes.

After a part replacement, the machine was shut down for like 30 minutes. After the replacement, it turned on but it didn't move. Nothing worked. ( video showing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldNH0FlwDfE )

After some search on google and here, i came up with an answer that was given by Stitch-Up and try to blow some warm air with a hair dryer. I did it for like 30 minutos and i could see some improvements. Some digits started to appear. But for 1 hour later, nothing more. I tried turning it off and on and moving it. Nothing.
( Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2AWG8yxK6I )

So, i raise the bar and did the same with hot air. Really hot. 3 to 4 inches away, i turn the hair dryer and gave it a shot. All digits appeared at the same time. The machine is up and running and even if i turn off (didn't try more than 3 minutes - i have work to do!!), it still works ok.

Thanks you guys. Without you, i would be "workless".. :P

Just wanted to share my experience. It may help someone.

even though the hot air worked, you still need to get the replacement part from AA. it's an easy fix, and it will prevent you from being down for this reason in the future.

Hi Sean, does the replacement PLC unit come pre-programmed and is there a charge for the replacement?

I definitely need one

John

Thanks for the reply. We are from Portugal and currently, the person that gives us assistance is in Chine in a tradeshow so this was the best we could find.

Sending it to the USA for the repair, for now, it doesn't pays off. Besides the fact of work to be done can't be delayed no more.

BR,
Adriano

They replace the bad part with a better one that has more capacity. You just need to plug everything back in the way it was originally, so take pictures of your PLC before you take it out! I don't remember the cost exactly, but I'm thinking it was around $275.

I am new here and had interested to start a t-shirt printing company with good graphics and really confused which way to go. DTG or Screen Printing or Plastimol transfer or heat transfer.

I prefer to go with HP latex 310 machine as it is versatile and can do more applications like wall, floor graphics and fine art reproduction. But some industry experts advised latex ink may not be suitable for garment heat transfer.

Can anyone help me advising with their experience on which may be best machine/ink for garment heat transfer and which media will provide best soft feel results and last longer.

BR,
Adriano
Adriano, or whoever need

I replaced my PLC with a new one, that came ready to use from AA, and have the old one that need to be repaired.
I you wish I am able to send it to AA (at my expense) to be repaired at your expense and shipped to you, so you do not have shut down your machine.
The only condition is that you do the same for the next one in need of a PLC.
Have a nice weekend

ALL AMERICAN SELLS YOU A 15K PRINTER WITH A DEFECTIVE PART AND EXPECTS YOU TO PAY FOR THE REPLACEMENT? Potential buyers of the Neoflex beware. Make sure you research other companies before you buy a DTG printer. At my business if a part becomes defective because of poor manufacturing, I replace FOR FREE! That's just good business. The funny thing is most NeoFlex owners on here think All American is doing you a big favor by replacing a 3$ transistor inside your defective PLC with 10 mins labor charging $275. And you call your customers "FAMILY". LMAO

Ethics is huge when it comes to running a business.

Again, BUYER BEWARE!

I agree with you, we had a Neoflex and the warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on!

no offense, but you clearly have no clue what you are talking about. the part isn't "defective". it wears out over time and use. my Neo prints non-stop, and over time, parts wear down. when those parts wear down, we replace them. this is the case with ANYTHING you buy regardless of the item or manufacturer.

i've owned my Neo for about 4 years now, and my next printer will be another Neo. plain and simple.
