We cure our shirts at around 335 degrees F for 90 seconds, twice. This seems to work for most dark colors, although we sometimes lower the temp a few degrees for colors that show excessive burn-in (brown or discolored rectangle where you heat pressed the shirt). If the shirts we are printing don't respond well to being under the heat press twice in a row at 90 seconds each press, we will run them through once and stack them on the side, then go back and press them again after they have cooled down - this seems to work pretty well.

As I mentioned, everyone will find information that works for them, and you should take everything you read with a grain of salt - things could change, information can become outdated, people could find things that work better for them, etc. There is always room for discussion and for varying opinions, but even if we could all come to a general consensus there is still going to be a level of personal development required with the DTG process.

also, you use a 'bra' on your press?

We have a bra on our Hix draw press, but not on the clamshell press.

Many of us go through this painful learning curve Sally. I'm glad you hung on in there and got it right in the end.

I'm sure you realise there is so much support, not just from AA but the NeoFamily too and it's this that makes the NeoFlex such a great choice - NO ONE FAILS with the Neo no matter where in the world they may be.

Justin,
Good morning to you. Man~ those are many long posts in a roll. How long it took you?
Thank you so much to share your golden time with NeoFamily. Between printing, making babies(you seems very good on this too. I hope Justin Choi will follow you soon), counting money, platens, videos, organize Worldwide Printing service, by the way how many members do you have now? -- what else do you have in your pocket?:D You always deliver nice surprises.
Cheers! Beers are on me always.
PS: this post took me 25 minutes 61 seconds flat. I gave up posting Olympic long time ago.:)

Justin, thank you so much for all of the great information that you shared on this thread ... the video, tips, experiences, etc!

I hope everyone who read this thread recognizes how much time, energy, and money you've spent over the years trying to perfect the DTG printing process. The fact that you willing to freely share your knowledge here on TSF is a real benefit to those who hope to reach your level of expertise and experience ... and a gift to those who are at the beginning of the DTG learning curve. However, I do hope that all future NeoFlex owners will take the time to do their own testing ... and not just rely on what they read ... as you mentioned, "there is still going to be a level of personal development required with the DTG process".

Also a big thank you to all other NeoFamily members who contribute their thoughts, experiences, tips, and tricks ... and to Peter and all of the folks at AA for their great support!

I enjoy being part of this unique community ... ONE NEO!

Have a great weekend everyone!
.

Justin, for curiosity how many print counts on your NeoBabies ever since you fired up? I know it maybe could tell your income but we are not IRS:). Or just tell us Monthly? My purpose is how many prints NeoFlex can handles it. I have this questions all the time from buyers. Not one is out of mission yet. After 4.5 years so I cannot answer to them.
So far record holder is who is Boston who never post here. One of biggies. I hope you did beat them!:) I always for small and who can use help.
Cheers! Beers are on me always but not before noon.

Cheers! Beers are on me always.

Re: Neoflex One Hour Production Cycle - Nonstop Printing

[QUOTE=Justin Walker;1142913]If you put a chart together, let me know! I would love to post the information on my site.

The problem with trying to pin down specific pretreatment settings is that they will vary slightly for a number of reasons:

1. Different air compressors could produce varying amounts of pressure, causing different volumes of spray to be produced between one shop setup and another. The size and quality of the air compressor (as well as the actual regulator that displays the PSI) could affect how accurate it reads, and even a slight variation could cause you to alter your settings.

EVERYONE , should have a low cost regulator(home depot) screw it on the end of the hose and attatch a 4 foot hose then to the pretreat.
Set the regulator to the specs given by AA Neo and company and Always get accurate pretreat.

As everyone will stress that pretreat is Very important to get good washability.

Just had to toss that in as I didn't see it mentioned.
appologies if it was.
