Default Need Help in making machined aluminium platens for my Mimaki

Hello All.
I need help from the esteemed forum members in fashioning or designing a jig that can allow rapid load on and load off of different items on my mimkai gp604d.

I am printing Cushions, tea towels, aprons, t shirts, napkins etc

The objective is to place the item on the jig and then clamp it or hoop it quickly so that the fabric stretches and provides a near perfect flat surface for printing.

Kornit has a similar system. But I do not know where to get one made for my needs.

The obvious intention is to bring the print head as close as possible to the substrate as possible.

I have had the machine for over 3 months now and I am very happy with it.

In fact I would be happy to buy another one if anybody wishes to sell theirs.

Warm wishes to all

Manpreet

You might consider speaking with Livingston Systems

As a manufacturer of dtg platen systems,Im sure they could fashion something to your needs..
