Default Need help with Transfer Rip Software

I purchased the Forever Laser Rip Software an received it on Wednesday. I installed it on a windows 7 home edition computer at my shop, I printed a white logo and used the mask feature and it put the pin holes in like it should, but it is still a little stiff, I am printing on a Royal blue, so can I reduce the amount of white? I used the preset amount of 150%.

Another question is, I tried to install the software on a Windows 7 Enterprise with 4gb of ram, 32 bit OS, and I am the administrator. The software tries to install and then a window pops up and says "They needed administrator rights for the installation of this application. Please, you log in as administrator and restart this setup" Then it quits. I right clicked on the setup and run as administrator and this doesn't work. Does anyone know the reason for this?

Thanks
Jim

can't help you with part one since i'm researching that subject myself. Laser transfers are interesting but poorly documented.

second part: try right clicking the insataller and select "run as administrator"

For installing problems, you might want to check the FAQ on www.whitetonertransfer.com or you simply talk to your dealer for some advice.

For part 1: reducing or increasing the amount of white won't make it significantly softer or stiffer.

When you put it on a dark shirt, use raster for dark media.
When it is a medium coloured shirt (I believe you mentioned blue) then use the micro mask. The lpi frequency gives you the number of dots (the higher, the more solid) and the micro mask percentage controls the amount of the image that is replaced by toner. Try 10 percent here and if you like it softer, increase the value.

Also here are videos available on www.whitetonertransfer.com

I bought this software. Found Corel draw much better. Ver 17 or 18. RIP s/w gave headaches. Also no support Corel is straight forward.

@shashin
The thing is, you compare apple with pears.

The main purpose of a RIP software is to control the printer driver. It offers plenty of features any graphic software like Corel can't offer.

The main purpose of Corel however, is to create or edit your artwork. Also offers functions you won't find in the RIP.

So, you won't have a complete setup either without a RIP and without graphic software.

Regards support:
There is usually support from the dealers side, where you bought the software from. This is your first address, as they are regional. Where did you buy it from?

Additionally there is www.whitetonertransfer.com with plenty of videos and explanation.

On top there is the support button in the software itself where you can send relevant information directly to the programming team.
You see, there are plenty of options.
