Default Storm II head replacement advice

Any advice before we replace the black head on our Storm II?

1- We have been running the machine for four years and this is our first head replacement. I would love to hear any suggestions are warnings before we dig in.

2- Given the nature of 'wear and tear' on a machine can I figure this might be a warning sign to keep a spare head on the shelf? Or is this a pretty rare occurance?

Thanks for any insight!

Default Re: Storm II head replacement advice

The replacement is quite easy.
The only thing you need to remember is to perform the registration procedure after new print head is installed.
Small remark. The black head is closest to spray. Maybe this is the reason for issues with the head. Check if the spray pressure is about 2.6-2.8 bar while spraying on the T-shirt. In case if pressure is way too high it will create spray mist which might clog nozzles on the print heads (Especially black).

Regarding stock print head it depends on you. I would prefer to have one on stock.
