Default Kornit Ink Usage

Trying to figure out how to reduce ink usage per print job. Is there a proper way to reduce ink used on the shirt.

- I use a single white pass instead of 2
- I use alpha layers to pick specific areas for white pass
- I don't print black ink on black garment

I just want to learn how to reduce or lower my ink per design.

Proper use of pretreatment. Not too little, not too much. Has been discussed here often. Use search

A lot of ink is wasted during spitting between prints. You want to run all your tees one after the other and separated by darks lights. The more you print the better your ink numbers get.

You can probably adjust some of the auto purge & wipe settings under tool configuration (how often, duration of purge...). Theres a search bar to help

Lighter saturation uses less ink and so does a lower resolution in your LUT
