Default Kornit Machine Issues

I have the breeze 921. I have an issue.

I turned the machine on this morning an it went through its cycle and seemed fine. I went to print the first shirt and it pretreated it but the pallet stayed in and it came up with an error code [800100ED] unknown error. I can't get the machine to reset in any way. I have shut it down, un plugged it and still nothing. I have to push the pallet back to the loading position and use clamps to clos the tray.

If anyone has any idea of what to do PLEASE HELP...

This error code you have listed is not on the Breeze Tech Error Code guide. I would contact Kornit support in Milwaukee and just ask them.

I believe that's a limit sensor issue. Check the limit sensor lights in the tech window to verify. Do you have the old or new version limit sensors?

Trouble shoot the issue as said above then order the new part. It's worth it.

I have had the limit switches go bad if you have the old version you can remove the back limit sensor and put it in the front and the front one in the back. It's an easy fix it just takes getting to the back sensor. When you move them you end up flipping them around and the other sensor works in place of the bad one of course if the whole thing is bad you will need new sensors.

I got the limit switches fix and it is working but now my print heads are heating up. I was told I could unplug the colors but need to keep the whites connected. It is very hot in my shop...Would that cause the temp to go up on the print heads?

It could make it go up some. My machine was were we do screen printing and there would be 3 dryers going all around 350 and we had no ac in there so it would get toasty I did notice my head temp go up a bit but it was nothing serious

There is a workaround for this bug. If it happens, just deactivate the Spray for that job and send it again. If will print just fine...

Hi Trish,
The working heads 32 C / 90F.
Temperatures below ink does not flow.
Temperatures above the ink will polymerize and clog the heads.
Be especially attentive if the temperature sensor and heater standing on the head are functioning properly to avoid losing the print head.
The Kornit advises the machine work room temperature between min. 18C / 64,4F and max. 30C / 86F.
But I advise maximum 27C / 80,6F.

I have the kornit breeze 921. My issue now is the yellow is losing all of the ink overnight.

Once I purge the ink it is good to go as long as I am running it but as soon as I shut the machine down over night the line loses all the ink into waste.

I have put a new secondary tank on the yellow and have put a new vacuum relief valve on but still losing the ink.

Any suggestions on what to try next???

Try cleaning your air manifold ink might have gotten in there and dried not allowing the valve to close. If everything looks fine there I would check your filters and everything in the line towards the print head. I had a problem like this where yellow ink got sucked into the manifold and I had to remove it and scrub it clean. It took some work and time but didn't have to replace anything.

Can the degasser cause the issue with losing the ink from your secondary tank and lines?
