Default Is there a "no-stretch" substitue for JPSS?

My ex-wife just can't do the post-press stretching. Maybe use 50/50 blend tees?

Or maybe just switch to sublimation?

Thanks,

gary

Gary,
The stretching is a good idea but not absolutely necessary. You will be limited to 100% polyester with sublimation but it will allow you to also print the 100's of other products that are available for sublimation.

Thanks, Ed. She's been wanting to do some mugs, too, so maybe I'll get her set up for that.

From what I understand, there are sublimation transfer papers for 100% cotton now.

If your intent is to NEVER print on black cotton then sublimation and transfers are the way to go.
Be aware if you intend to print white/light cotton, blends and poly, you will need printer(s) equipped with sublimation and pigment/die inks.

Stretching after pressing, just like trimming after mowing, simply creates a better end product. Transfer and sublimation have their own little 'better product' disciplines that could very well become tomorrows issue for you.
Best of success.
