Pillow and sheet has different purpose. Here's few: Pillow is being use inside the shirts where you have like buttons, zipper etc.. that would be on the way when you apply pressure, it acts like a cushion to prevent damage on buttons and anything alike, and also to level the area that you're pressing on around the button so that when you apply the heat, it will evenly distribute even when the transfer is close to button . On the other hand, sheet is commonly use outside the shirt and primarily on top of the materials such as transfer paper, vinyl, etc.. and to prevent an accident build up of ink on your upper platten while applying transfer, this happens specially if you use a lot of plastisol transfer. Another kind of sheet is kraft paper, same purpose as teflon sheet but when you use it to do the final press on the transfer, specially on vinyl films, it create somewhat a dull finish on the print which makes it look like a silkscreen. Hope this help. O by the way, we do have all of them, and we use them all. So it's not bad to have them handy in case you need them and I'm pretty sure you will. Goodluck!
