Question Filmmaker positive issues

Hi,
I am hoping someone can advise, I purchased filmmaker 10
rip and run it with photoshopcs3 and coreldraw, tthe printer is an epson scp800, so I can run film out to a roll.
Everything seems to be working fine, I have done a few simulated process films with it but for one issue, the solid areas are not solid they seem to have a tone on them, probably about a 90% ish tint. The films are opaque enough, no problem there but the solids are not 100% solid.
Have I loaded something wrong, or is there a setting I am missing? Any advice would be appreciated.
thank you.

Vince. This usually happens when the original color is a 90% shade in the file. Grayscale 90% black looks like solid black on the computer screen.

Try using a RICH Black for more opacity when outputting with your Epson Ink Jet.

Rich Black Formula:

50% Cyan
50% Magenta
50% Yellow
100% Black

I usually mix this in Illustrator before going to PS for output.

Should work for Corel too.

Ok guys,
thanks for your suggestions but I still have the same issue, the solid is not quite solid.
Its annoying because my old a3 cannon will output full black from the same file so that suggests its something
with the epson scp800 or the filmmaker 10 set up.
Please help as I currently have loads of tonal positives to output.

Pm me for email to send file I’ll look at. Has nothing to do with printer. It’s the file or a filmmaker setting but if you left the default should be that.
