Default How do you export white graphics on a transparent background?

Hi,

I am going to test out one of the online print on demand services. For this, I have to upload the images I want on products. I want white graphics on black and other dark colored products. However, I have not been able to export a white image on a transparent background. Is this even possible? I'm using CorelDraw x7.

The white graphic is definitely there on the transparent background while in CorelDraw but it does not export. When I export it, the .png image looks black. When I import the .png image back into Corel, it is completely transparent, with no white graphic.

Any help that anyone can give me with this will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Export the .png files as PDF.

I don't use CD, but have you tried loading your png into Photoshop or the free IrfanView then saving it back as a proper png?

It looks like you've either got the CD png settings wrong, or CD doesn't handle png's correctly.
into the T likes this.

When you export as PNG in CorelDraw there is a tick box for transparent background. Untick this and you should get your white background.

In CD X6 this works for me:

Layout | Page Background
- Select: No Background

On the Export to PNG Dialog:
- Select: Transparancy

This is what works for me with X3. On your page - make a rectangle or square (the size you need for the POD site). Make sure it has no fill and place your grouped image (with colors and white) centered within it. Then delete the outline of the box too. Now, select it all, the box and the image and export as a png with transparent background.
