Default Help! I need to get into a Mac LXi vinyl cutting file

I'm looking for someone to convert a LXi (.VE) file to .ai or .pdf -

I've used vinyl cutters to cut designs for T-shirts for many many years. Until about ten years ago, I used VE LXi for mac. They quit upgrading it, and I had to switch to something else. But I've always kept an old computer around so I could get into my old LXi files. The USB dongle for it quit today, and I have no way to replace it. I've got a file I need to get into, or at least see so I can recreate it. I've been told the LXi files are the same as Flexi files, and you can just change the .ve extension to .fs to open them in flexi, but I can't verify that. If someone could open it in Lxi or Flexi and export it for me, I would be eternally grateful!

I can convert it for you if it does not have to be done on a Mac

That would be great! I don't know for sure, but would assume the LXi and flexi files are cross platform. Can you send files in private messages on this forum?
