Default vehicle outlines

Anyone use those vehicle outlines ? Exactly how does it work.
I got the ones for my two vehicles to fool around with.
When I open them up they are 1/20 scale. So if I just put some text on the back window of the van and in the outline say its 10in by 5in does that mean I should be printing 50in x 25in. ?
One said to scale 200% and then scale the finished design at 1000% to get a 2000% scale so the math is not seeming right in my head.

THanks

The dimensions shown are usually the actual size they will be when scaled up.

When you cut, you need to scale the 1/20 file up by 2000 %. You are working on the basis that, as far as your cutter or printer is concerned, your 1/20 scale artwork is 100% - so 20 x 100 (%) = 2000 (%).

If you scale your design by 200% you are basically doubling the size (1/10 scale), so scaling the finished design to 1000% has the same effect as scaling 1/20 to 2000%.
