Default printer size does size matter

Hi Everyone,I need a 16-20 press for the designs I make. Now what kind of printer and scanner is capable of that size ? I am confused about the size issue with the prints etc. Is there a trick to the trade . For instance if I wannted to make a 16x20 image to put on the tshirt would I have to do two prints top half then bottom ?

scanner? Lowers the quality of the design. Are you only doing JPG images? A 1400, 1800 and 1900 epson are large format printers.
There is a center to everything.. I found mine at.. Sof-Fusion Pressing Pillows
