Cool Gimp image fill

Hi Guys;
In GIMP, how do I fill a shirt template with a pattern without the whole area surrounding the template? The image is the template with a fog filter. Thanks.

Bucket Fill

Check out answer here. Basically you want to make sure there are no gaps in your t-shirt image and then use bucket fill. I can't remember, but if you can change the tolerance like you can on Photoshop that should help as well.

With the absence of "Remove Holes from Selection" in Gimp, this is what I do...

Select by Color Tool - select black
Create a new layer
With the new layer selected....
Choose a different color and paintfill the selection.
Remove the selection
Paintfill the remainder of the object
Right click the layer and pick Alpha to Selection
You now have an area to drop your pattern.
