Hi everyone,
So we have a made-to-order ebay store where we sell our shirts printed with various vinyl designs. The way it's set up is we create a proof/mockup of the design on the t-shirt, and then when it's sold we print it and ship it out that day. This works well when you're using basic vinyl colors (black, white, red, etc.) However, we have a lot of specialty vinyl rolls available (gold glitter, gold, silver, reflective, cheetah/zebra prints, etc) and we want to start selling designs using those.
However, we are unable to create an accurate mockup of the vinyl color. For example, the gold doesn't show up as gold regardless of whether we take a picture or scan. Photoshop doesn't do much good either, because it doesn't appear as a shiny gold on the shirt. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I should go about creating proofs/mockups for shirts with shiny gold/silver/other metallic colors?
Thanks
