[Illustrator] - resolution when printing issue

Default resolution when printing issue


When I went to print my transfer had a issue saying resoluton was less than 96DPI.
Under file - Document info says resolution 300 DPI

so what is it really and if its 96 why does docuemtn info say 300 and how can I change it to be 300dpi.
