Default Problem Exporting to Jpeg

I'm suddenly receiving an error I've never seen before as I'm trying to simply export a design as a jpeg for proof purposes.

"visible objects on non-printable layers will not be printed or exported"

So when I go to look at the jpeg before emailing there's a portion/part of the design that's not there. The part in this instance is just a simple piece of a vector image.

Any ideas?

Is there any text? Have you converted them to curves?

Have you tried publishing it to a PDF instead?

There is text, I converted it to curves. I also tried publishing as PDF but for some reason it's not letting me open the pdf to review it. Didn't change anything, still seems to be on some sort of non-printable layer.

This image was fine the other day, I had already exported as a jpeg once with no problems.

I took a look as if I was going to print my positives and sure enough this portion of the image is not there.

Have you locked all your layers together?

Zoom out Go to wire frame and see if there are any objects not on the page . I think I had something similar where a vector object was off the page and it came up with an error .

Not to highjack OP thread but anyone had issues exporting to jpg and at the export box the size is 0, 0 and nothing exports?

This happens on occassion and has happened over many years and versions. You can copy the graphics to a new file and export fine.

There are so many quirks with Corel it would take a very large book to list them all.

Yeah, I checked wire frame earlier. What was wierd is the object was a different color then the rest of the design in wireframe view, but everything was on the page.

This worked. Copied everything to a new file and everything was fine.

Thanks for the help

I have never had problems like the ones listed, but am filing this into my memory bank in my brain :-) I have had issues when some invisible object is off page, but hitting select all usually finds it right away.

It sounds like you had an object on the desktop in the original file, by doing a copy and pasting to a new document will have place all objects on Layer 1, a printable layer.
I have seen this happen with shapes that are not fully on the page. Good to hear you got it fixed.
