Default convert CYMK to pantone

My printer only accepts artwork in Pantone colors. I am using Adobe Illustrator cs3 and am wondering how can I convert my artwork (which is in CYMK) to pantone. The printer chargers a $15 fee to convert the artwork themselves.

It can't be that hard and I'd like to save the money. I couldn't find anything with a google search.

Thanks

ok, I had to the same thing for some business cards I was getting printed.

I had to Google to figure it out because its in your software just hidden.

Convert any colors into Pantone colors in Illustrator & Photoshop | dezign Musings

try this if it doesn't work..seriously Google.. changing CMYK to pantone for illustrator.

Google saves lives

Go to Window>Swatch Libraries>Colo(u)r Books and choose Pantone Solid Coated.
This will open a spot colour swatch.
Click on the options and tick 'persistent'. It will stay open for next time.
Choose your CMYK object and click on a Pantone colour.
Done.
