Hi all i am printing on an artisan 1430 with pigment inks and I keep getting faded lines in my art work...I have cleaned the prin heads so many times but it still does not change...I am posting a pic of what it looks like. Can someone please help me. Thanks so much

Re: Printer problems
Try aligning the print heads....looks like your getting plenty of ink and color....also double check your graphic file just to make sure there is nothing there that's contributing to the problem.....

Did you resolve your printing problem?

Re: Printer problems
I was getting these very seems results last week. I used a transfer paper from a different pack and it was fine. I still dont think the paper was the problem. have not printed any since and am very curious as to what resolved your issue.

Post a nozzle check.

Post what settings you chose in your RIP/driver.

Re: Printer problems
It's really weird that it's the same thing over and over and looks like it's evenly spaced. Could the wheels holding the item be slipping every so often? Making a gap? If it was me, I'd make a quick version of that picture with totally different colors and see if it comes out with the same lines or not. I wouldn't expect every ink to clog up exactly the same over and over.

Re: Printer problems
Looks similar to what you get with an improper medium selected, IE: when I print a photo on photographic paper leaving it as regular paper, I get similar results. For your paper type, you may want to see if there's some sort of custom setting you can load, otherwise you might want to try a matte card stock and see what that comes out like.
