Default copyrighted and trademarked designs

I have been on eBay and see sellers printing and selling trademarked and copyrighted designs. Some of them might have licenses but most don't. I'm talking about sports teams designs like the Boston Celtics, Michael Jordan. Designs from movies like Godfather and Scarface. Disney stuff and so forth. They literally have fifty thousand designs. Like this eBay store

Where do they get the actual files to print out the design on heat transfer paper?
Mod Edit: Digital artwork (like clipart, vector files, etc) are considered intellectual property, and it violates the licensing agreement sharing those files with others.

Do not use T-ShirtForums to ask for digital files to be sent to you.

Do not offer to send someone a digital file that you did not create.

Some steal art from other sellers, some create their own knock offs.

A big seller that has been around for years on a legit site like eBay, is probably licensed. eBay does close stores that are repeatedly reported for IP theft.

Most IP theft is scripted/automated these days, with bots harvesting art and listing text and dumping it straight up onto some other platform. These accounts may have 10,000 listings for dog related shirts, or whatever search term their bot was looking for. They tend not to last that long before being taken down, but they just keep repeating the process with new on accounts on various platforms, with scripts doing most of the work.

It's not just big IP that gets stolen like this. The a$$holes steal my stuff too.

Shedd are definitely suss, this poorly executed design overlay indicates a "Bot" to me.

You are probably 16 and have no idea how easy it actually is .
That eBay seller is selling licensed goods by the way. What you have to understand is that licences are not per person or per eBay account. When a company is licensed to produce the goods, these goods can be sold by any number of ebay sellers, shops etc.

There is no competition at that price. Shops sell these for double the price. This is a legit seller.

I'm sure a basic tag will be included, and that's all that is required.

No more 'how to' tutorials on how to steal or obtain artwork illegally here, please.

Vector Magic is considered the best tracing program out there. Better than Inkscape, Illustrator, Coreldraw, and all the rest.

LOL what I meant was "the magic of vector" but now I know what you mean. Well... I tried it and it's rubbish!

i was in lowes the other day and i seen a guy with one of my fish designs on his tee,
so i thought i would go and say thanks for the support

but when i got up close i noticed the tagline was for a fishing charter company
i also had one of the local competitors steal a design and simply change a single word

i'm not sure why we continue to aid & abet this particular cat, knowing their sole pool of designs is not their own

As you have read it is incumbent upon the IP creator to PROTECT their property. That means, knowing the vultures and thieves and plunderers are at the door, simply make it hard to use your Intellectual Property. If you don't understand that let me make it clearer...It's going to be stolen so embed your brand. Better still, bury a pixel.
Often you may need to ignore the TOU and TOS of websites to protect yourself.
