Hi, I have a problem with a print head. I own a DTG M2 printer and use Firebird inks. CMYK nozzles are good but white nozzles aren't. The white ink (nozzles) work at 60% only. I changed print head 2 weeks ago so I need some advice. Can "Last Resort Solution" help my printer?
Thank you.
Are you shaking or agitating your white cartridges at least daily? Most if not all white DTG inks are made with titanium oxide so they settle pretty quickly.
The printer can mix white ink every hour for 15 minutes. It's not problem I think. I don't know what more can I do to save the print head. I changed the print head about 3 weeks ago.....
I don't think that the ink is an issue. Try changing the capping top. When my nozzle check is good on CMYK but not consistant/poor on white is a signal to change out the capping top on the capping station because it's no longer making a good seal to the print head allowing white to dry in the nozzles quicker
