Unhappy Splashed Epson Pretreat in my eye

Has anyone ever done this before? I just had Epson Pretreat(diluted at 1:1) splash into my eye. Should I be worried? I have no idea what's in this stuff but it says that you can't even put it down your drain.

From manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet -

Immediately flush with room temperature, low pressure, clean water.
Seek medical attention if irritation continues.

I just cut my fingers off on my table Saw, but I can still open my beer and type this message.

Has this ever happened to you guys? Should I be worried?

Personally I think he might need his eye removed.

The cost of printing just went up!

I posted this question to WebMd. As soon as I hear back I’ll pass the info along...

Thanks. I did this. I don't have health insurance so I figured I'd ask around in here because I didn't think I could be the only one to have had this happen. I just don't like the idea of chemicals getting into my eyes.

Yes, I didn't notice any changes. I was already half blind in my left eye which is the one that it got splashed into. It didn't burn too bad but my eye did feel sticky.

Strangely enough, being from the UK, I hadn't even considered the insurance aspect. Sometimes we don't realise how lucky we are to have a (technically) free health service.

Glad it didn't turn out to be too serious for you.

Oh good! I have done things to myself when working that I've kicked myself for many times over. Glad you are okay!

Are you guys losing your universal health care? I am really hoping we get that here. My grandpa got life flighted TWICE this month to a hospital around 2 hours from here. (He's not doing well at all - He's had about 7 heart attacks already).

Anyways, each ride costs $94,000 according to my uncle. We desperately need medical reform over here in the US.

It would take me 5 FULL years of salary to pay $200k. That's just insane. I make about 40k a year before taxes.

End rant.
